South Brisbane just like a slice of the Big Apple
South Brisbane has been labelled the local equivalent to New York's Greenwich Village and has been pinpointed as one of Brisbane's property hotspots. This is due to the precinct being well-supported by public transport and billions of dollars of infrastructure under construction or planning.
A new annual report by Urbis aims to find opportunities and hotspots in the Brisbane market - taking into account factors such as population, infrastructure, employment and historical data.

New 10-Storey Residential Building to be completed in April 2012
Aria's Station 16, at Merivale Street, South Brisbane is due to be completed in April 2012. The 10 storey building is made up of one and two bedroom apartments, as well as basement parking and ground floor retail.
All apartments were sold off-the-plan.
ARIA is due to launch its next project in South Brisbane in October 2011.
Airportlink - Less than 12 Months Away
With 80% of construction now complete and nearly 15 kilometres of tunnels and ramps excavatd, Airportlink is set to open in mid-2012.
Airportlink connects the Clem7, Inner City Bypass and local road networks at Bowen Hills to the northern arterials of Gympie Road, Stafford Road at Kedron and Sandgate Road and East West Arterial Road - leading motorists to the Brisbane Airport and Australia TradeCoast.
