Networking Functions

Business South Bank (BSB) hosts six evening networking functions a year.

The events are hosted by a member organisation and are addressed by a significant guest – ranging from Premiers to Lord Mayors and Ministers.

They are designed to create the opportunity for members to introduce themselves to and get to know their business neighbours.

Approximately 150 guests attend each event. Networking functions are exclusive to BSB members and their guests.


CEO Lunches

BSB and its members host CEO Lunches to engage senior government figures and policy makers in discussion on issues of importance to the precinct.

CEO Lunches  are exclusive to CEOs within BSB’s Platinum and Silver membership categories.

Information Sessions

BSB presents information sessions for members on issues identified either by the Board and its subcommittees or by members.

These have included tours of the new ABC Headquarters, an introduction to Airportlink, a presentation on the South Bank Rail Corridor Enhancement, the BaT Project, The Kurilpa Master Plan, G20 Information sessions and Queens Wharf Development information. 

The information sessions are open to all BSB members and their staff.


The BSB Showcase has been described as a cross between a trade show and ‘speed dating.’

The event provides members with a fantastic opportunity to create business to business connections and expose their business to their business neighbours.

The 2016 Showcase had 50 stalls and over 290 attendees.  Hundreds of new connections were made between members, with many stall holders reporting genuine leads and sales coming directly from their Showcase experience.

Development Opportunities

BSB is committed to creating opportunities for business to grow in the South Bank precinct.  The Association aims to support the staff in each business to engage with fellow members and develop their own skills base, through:
